Coating of fishfeed with oil
Extruded or pressed fish pellets are enriched in oil to bring energy, control floating, support nutrients.
         
 

 
 
 

  • Allow control of density, i.e. sinking behaviour
  • Increases the energy load

č Up Flow process :
The fishfeed pellets are typically produced on an extruder, pellet press and then dried.
č Down Flow process :
The pellets are preferably coated as they are still warm and cooled just after coating and before packinging line
