Coating of fishfeed with oil
Extruded or pressed fish pellets are enriched in oil to bring energy, control floating, support nutrients.

Allow control of density, i.e. sinking behaviour Increases the energy load

è Up Flow process : The fishfeed pellets are typically produced on an extruder, pellet press and then dried.

è Down Flow process : The pellets are preferably coated as they are still warm and cooled just after coating and before packinging line
