Seasoning of expanded snacks
The snacks are sprayed with a fat mixture, essentially palm oil (40°C). Salt or flavours are dispersed onto the snacks.

è Up Flow process :
The snacks are extruded (14% moisture, 150°C) or pre-formed(30% moisture, 100°C)/expanded (180°C), then dried prior to coating (120°C) down to 2% moisture.
